Built by Diverzent

Twenty quotes.One comparison.

A requirement goes out to a dozen suppliers. Quotes come back over three days in a dozen formats, and somebody rebuilds them into a spreadsheet before anyone can decide anything. Procure sends the requests, collects the responses, and puts them side by side in the form they need to be compared in.

Built by Diverzent for apparel and textile manufacturers.

The problem

Procurement is not slow because buyers are slow.

It is slow because the process is made of waiting. Waiting for a requirement to be confirmed, waiting for quotes to come back, waiting for someone to normalise five price structures into something a manager can approve. Each wait is short. Together they are the reason a material date slips.

The information is rarely the problem either. It is that the information arrives as email attachments, in units that do not match, against terms that are not comparable, and the comparison itself has to be built by hand every time.

Procure holds the requirement, the request, the response and the delivery in one place, so the comparison already exists when the decision has to be made.

The quote was never the bottleneck. Rebuilding it into a comparable shape was.

What it does

From requirement to receipt.

Six things, each of which is currently done by hand in most factories we walk into.

Requirements from the plan
Material requirements are raised against requisitions and production requirements rather than typed again, so what is bought reflects what is planned to run.
Requests for quotation
Send a request to any number of suppliers at once, and see who has responded and who has not without opening a mailbox.
Comparison in one format
Responses arrive into a common structure and are set side by side. Price, terms and lead time are compared as they are, not as somebody retyped them.
One place to talk to suppliers
Messages, documents and order status sit against the order they belong to, so the history of a decision survives the person who made it.
Delivery tracked against the plan
Follow goods from order to receipt, with the dates visible to the people planning around them rather than only to the buyer.
Procurement reporting
Spend, lead time and supplier performance over time — the numbers you need to negotiate the next contract rather than only to close the last one.

Bring us one category and one month of quotes.

The fastest way to see whether this is worth anything is to run a real requirement through it. Bring a category you buy regularly and we will set it up against your own supplier list.
